Building Pathways to Stability

Agape Holmes Incorporation is developing housing-focused programs and supportive services designed to assist individuals and families experiencing homelessness, housing instability, violence, and other significant barriers to safe and permanent housing.

Our goal is to develop compassionate, person-centered programs that promote safety, housing stability, self-sufficiency, and independence while connecting participants with resources and community-based support.

Transitional Housing

Agape Holmes Incorporation is working to develop transitional housing opportunities for eligible individuals and families experiencing homelessness, housing instability, and other significant barriers to permanent housing.

Our developing housing model is intended to provide temporary housing assistance together with individualized support, housing navigation, and connections to community resources that can help participants work toward safe and permanent housing.

This program is currently in development and is not yet accepting participants.

Case Management

Agape Holmes Incorporation is developing a person-centered case management approach designed to help participants identify their needs, strengths, barriers, and goals.

Depending on individual needs and program availability, case management may include:

HOUSING NAVIGATION 

Agape Holmes Incorporation is developing housing navigation services designed to help participants identify and pursue safe, stable, and appropriate housing opportunities.

Housing navigation may include assistance with identifying housing options, understanding housing requirements, communicating with landlords and housing providers, completing housing-related applications, and connecting with community housing resources.

Our goal is to help participants overcome barriers to housing and move toward greater housing stability and independence.

Employment Support

Agape Holmes Incorporation recognizes that employment and income can play an important role in achieving long-term housing stability and self-sufficiency. Depending on individual needs and program availability, employment-related support may include:

Agape Holmes Incorporation recognizes that financial knowledge can help individuals and families build greater stability and prepare for long-term housing success. Depending on individual needs and program availability, financial-literacy education may include:

  • Budgeting and money management

  • Saving and financial planning

  • Credit awareness

  • Financial goal setting

  • Household financial planning

  • Understanding expenses related to obtaining and maintaining housing

Our goal is to help participants strengthen their financial knowledge and develop practical skills that support housing stability, self-sufficiency, and independence.

Supportive Services

Housing stability often depends on access to resources that address other needs in a person's life. Depending on individual needs, program availability, and available community resources, Agape Holmes Incorporation may provide assistance or connect participants with supportive services that include:

  • Transportation assistance

  • Childcare resources and referrals

  • Food and essential-needs assistance

  • Counseling and behavioral-health referrals

  • Legal-service and advocacy referrals

  • Benefits and community-resource navigation

  • Safety planning

  • Specialized victim-service referrals

Agape Holmes Incorporation believes strong community partnerships are essential to helping individuals and families access the resources and opportunities needed for long-term stability.

As our programs develop, we are working to build relationships with nonprofit organizations, faith-based organizations, housing providers and property owners, healthcare and behavioral-health providers, victim-service organizations, employers, legal-service providers, government and social-service agencies, and other community partners.

These relationships can help strengthen referral networks, expand access to specialized services, identify housing and employment opportunities, and connect participants with resources beyond those provided directly by Agape Holmes.

Agape Holmes Incorporation is actively developing its housing-focused programs and supportive services. Some programs and services described on this website are currently in the planning and development stages and may not yet be available.

Program availability will depend on organizational capacity, funding, community partnerships, housing resources, and other program requirements.

As programs become available, Agape Holmes will provide updated information regarding eligibility, enrollment, services, and how to request assistance.

Five-Year Program Development Vision

Over the next five years, Agape Holmes Incorporation plans to strengthen and expand its housing-focused programs and supportive services as organizational capacity, funding, housing resources, and community partnerships develop.

  • Strengthening services and referral pathways for survivors of violence and human trafficking

  • Strengthening program accountability, participant confidentiality, and responsible nonprofit operations

The Community Problem We Want to Help Solve

Individuals and families experiencing homelessness and housing instability often face multiple barriers that make it difficult to obtain and maintain safe, permanent housing. These barriers may include limited income, unemployment, disabilities, experiences of violence or human trafficking, transportation challenges, financial hardship, reentry after incarceration, and difficulty accessing appropriate community resources.

For survivors of violence and human trafficking, the need for safe housing can be especially urgent. Housing instability may increase vulnerability and make it more difficult for survivors to establish safety, independence, and long-term stability.

Agape Holmes Incorporation is developing housing-focused programs and supportive services intended to help address these barriers through housing navigation, individualized support, community-resource connections, and partnerships with organizations that provide specialized services.

Our goal is to help individuals and families move from housing instability toward greater safety, stability, self-sufficiency, and independence.

As our organization grows, we plan to develop and strengthen housing-focused programs, supportive services, and community partnerships that respond to the needs of individuals and families experiencing homelessness, housing instability, violence, human trafficking, and other significant barriers to permanent housing.

We seek to build strong relationships with housing providers, victim-service organizations, healthcare and behavioral-health providers, employers, legal-service providers, government and social-service agencies, nonprofit organizations, faith communities, and other partners that can help participants access appropriate resources and opportunities.
